The free sound effect playlist in CBC’s online news service is being rolled out to YouTube channels, according to a CBC News article.
The new feature will be available to all subscribers beginning on Feb. 17.
The CBC News Channel will also begin rolling out a free audio podcast featuring sound effects to its online radio stations.
The move comes after the CBC Media Network announced earlier this month that it would start rolling out free sound and visual effects to some of its online stations.
Sound effects and visual design features, including in-depth news analysis, feature on-air interviews, and interactive graphics, are among the features that will now be free to subscribers.
CBC News’ news coverage is available for free to all CBC News channel subscribers.
